How it works
Three steps to trouble
Pick up your answer sheets, put down your phones, and put your heads together. Here's how a night of Troublesome Trivia goes.
Here's the game plan
Step 1: Show up
Bring your crew or come solo. Find a trivia night from the schedule and head over. Arriving early never hurt anyone, probably.
Upcoming gamesStep 2: Grab a sheet
Your answers go on a paper answer sheet. Pick a team name: maybe an inside joke or a pop culture reference, maybe just your name. (We've never had a team named "Manny" win, but it doesn't mean we never will!) Once the game starts, phones go away: no phones, no cheating.
Step 3: Get troublesome
Six rounds, eight questions each. Hand in your answer sheet to the host. Answers and scores updated every two rounds. Prizes announced at the end!
Good to know
Six rounds of eight
A standard game runs six rounds, eight questions apiece.
Scoring
Most questions worth 1 point. The final round of every trivia is a double points round. Pay attention to the host, they'll keep you informed.
Teams and solo players
Bring your whole crew or play on your own. Both are welcome.
Phones away
Once the game starts, phones get put away. No phones, no cheating.
